AGRIMET site on Silcott Island recorded a gust of 58 MPH at 1730LST. Several other sites in the zone recorded gusts in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
Wider weather episode
A deepening Low with strong jet support brought strong surface winds across Columbia Basin into the region. Winds were sustained in the high teens and mid 20s. Gusts ranged in the upper 40s to near 60. Power outages affected around 15000 customers.
