The hail accumulated to one-half inch deep.
Wider weather episode
Several rounds of severe thunderstorms developed along and in advance of a cold front. Multicellular clusters and supercells were the primary storm modes during this event which produced damaging winds, large hail and a brief EF-0 tornado. CAPE values of 1,000 to 2,500 j/kg and helicity values near 300 m2/s2 contributed to the widespread and organized nature of the storms.
