Event narrative

Trees downed onto building near intersection of TR 172 and CR 25, about four-miles southeast of Risingsun. Unsure of any damage to building.

Wider weather episode

A surface cold front drifted southeastward from southeastern Lower MI and northwest OH to western NY, northwest PA, and northeast OH during the afternoon through late evening of the 1st as an occluded low meandered over northeast MB. Ahead of the front, multicell thunderstorm clusters, many of which grew upscale into a longer squall line, impacted northern OH as the storms evolved generally eastward. In vicinity of the front, a supercell moved generally eastward across northwest OH before merging with nearby thunderstorms and evolving into a multicell storm cluster. These storms occurred within a warm sector comprised of moderate to strong effective bulk shear and primarily moderate MUCAPE and DCAPE, respectively. There were multiple reports of severe hail and damaging convective wind gusts.
