A localized area of just over 6 inches of snow fell in the northeast corner of the county. Totals elsewhere across the northern part of the county were around 4 inches or less.

Wider weather episode

A slow moving area of low pressure meandered across northwestern Minnesota on the 13th and 14th before moving out late on the 14th. Snowfall was generally light across the region, but the Kabetogama area in northwestern St. Louis County was able to record just over 6 inches on less than 12 hours.
