Drought April 1, 2022 – April 30, 2022 · Mcmullen, Texas

What the National Weather Service wrote

Exceptional drought continued over much of the county during the month.

The wider storm

Above normal rainfall occurred over Jim Wells and Duval counties and portions of La Salle and Webb Counties during the month of April. But this was not enough to improve severe to exceptional drought conditions over these counties. Below normal rainfall over the coastal plains during the month caused severe drought conditions to spread to this region during the month.
