NOAA Buoy 42020, approximately 54 miles northeast of Port Mansfield, recorded a peak gust to 35 knots on June 29th at 8:30AM CDT due to a line of showers and thunderstorms spinning around an area of low pressure in the western Gulf of Mexico.
