Nickel and dime size hail on the SW side of Manistee.

Wider weather episode

Multiple clusters of thunderstorms developed amidst ample instability and weak flow during the morning of 5/11 and tracked across parts of northern lower Michigan into the afternoon. These storms produced hail up to 1 inch in diameter as they tracked across the southern portions of the forecast area.
