A mudslide occurred over Colorado Highway 145 west of Telluride as a result of heavy rain.

Ample monsoon moisture paired with the aided support aloft from a passing shortwave resulted in scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across western Colorado. Some storms produced heavy rain which led to a localized debris flow in San Miguel County.
