Thunderstorm wind gusts downed trees near the intersection of Indiana State Road 46 and County Road 700 West.

Wider weather episode

A series of pulse storms caused isolated pockets of tree damage during the early afternoon of July 6th. Robust instability but weak shear allowed for a few strong to severe storms which caused damage in Rush and Decatur counties. Storms would later enter Ohio and do greater damage amid more favorable conditions.
