Sheriff dispatch reported trees and power lines down at the intersection of Hwy 23 and Key Rd between the towns of Edgefield and Modoc.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed along the higher terrain to the north and moved towards the area. As storms moved into a highly unstable environment, they became more widespread and produced damaging winds, small hail, and flash flooding.
