Bay County Central Dispatch reported numerous wires and trees down throughout the county. Just under 20 percent of the consumers energy customers lost power in Bay county.

Wider weather episode

Two lines of thunderstorms tracked through southeast Michigan during the early morning hours. Scattered severe thunderstorms were embedded in each line. Damaging winds brought down trees and lead to power outages, especially hard hit was Bay, Oakland, and Livingston counties.
