St. Johns County lifeguards reported 64 water rescues were performed at St. Augustine Beach from Monday June 8 to Wednesday June 10. Nearly all rescues were rip current related.

A moderate rip current risk was in effect June 8th, June 9th, and June 10th with sea breeze dominated winds. The moderate risk on June 8th was upgraded to a high rip current risk for St. Johns and Flagler counties.
