Bear Creek.
Wider weather episode
A series of upper level disturbances moving overhead along with a cold front in place supported a prolonged period of snow showers across the higher terrain. A brief period of higher intensity snow did help bring the highest snowfall amounts into the one to two feet range, mainly across the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountains. This stronger system also supported higher winds, especially over and near the higher terrain.
