Another strong system moved across the region, providing a long period of high winds over much of southern Colorado during this period. While high winds up to around 80 mph were the main concern, several hazards ranging from high winds and extreme fire danger, to a localized severe thunderstorm risk across the southeast plains, to snow and blowing

snow across the central mountains were observed.
