The public reported tennis ball size hail in Throckmorton.

A warm front and dryline intersection was better defined by the afternoon north of I-20. Also, strong instability was in the area. As a result, isolated to scattered thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon and early evening across mainly the Big Country. A few storms became severe and produced large hail. Also, localized wind damage was reported near Lake Brownwood. The San Angelo ASOS reported a wind gust near 75 mph on May 10th.
