Thunderstorms formed along a frontal boundary over south-central and southeast Texas on the afternoon and evening of the 21st. This activity moved toward the coast and reached the Victoria Crossroads during the early morning hours of the 22nd. The storms produced wind damage in Victoria and in Kingsville around daybreak on the 22nd.
