The mesonet station EW5837 Kahlotus which is 1 mile southwest of Kahlotus, WA measured a peak wind gust of 63 mph at 1230 PST. The mesonet station HRMTN 10.1 NW Benton City, WA measured wind gust of 59 mph at 1430 PST.

An unseasonably strong cold front passage on May 18th produced breezy to gusty winds across the forecast area, with strong winds mainly being reported across central and southeast Washington.
