Multiple vehicles were trapped in flood waters around the intersection of US Route 40 and English Creek Avenue in Egg Harbor Township.

Thunderstorms brought locally heavy rain to parts of eastern Atlantic County from the late afternoon into the evening of July 25. Rainfall totals were as high as 2.5 to 3.5 inches.
