Road closure due to weather related obstruction near the intersection of Wallace Bridge road and Wattsboro Circle road.

Wider weather episode

Low pressure tracked from the Middle Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley on May 3 with a trailing warm front becoming stationary from western Virginia through south central Virginia and into northeast North Carolina. Meanwhile, high pressure was located off the Northeast coast allowing for easterly flow north of the front. Storms developed in southwest and south central Virginia as well as in North Carolina during the late afternoon, tracking into south central Virginia and northeast North Carolina into the evening before weakening.
