A wind event occurred mid to late evening across western portions of the CWA with radiational cooling after sunset. Being in the baroclinic zone of the storm system, high based convection occurred allowing for strong outflows with ample DCAPE values over 1200 J/kg. 60-70 mph was the frequent reports with only small hail occurring.
