A man drowned when his car was swept off the road in the vicinity of a low water crossing near the 7000 Block of Webb Ferrell Road in Arlington, TX.

North and Central Texas began June with an unsettled weather pattern in place. An upper level disturbance and weak front worked together to generate multiple rounds of showers and storms. Outflow boundaries from earlier convection also served as a focus for development in succeeding time periods. A few severe storms occurred, along with localized areas of flash flooding, and two fatalities occurred due to flooding.
