Event narrative

This is a continuation of the tornado that tracked through Moberly, MO. It continued its northeast movement and entered western Monroe County southwest of Duncans Bridge around 1805 CST. Several farm buildings were damaged in this area, including a barn, grain bin, machine shed, and power lines. The tornado crossed into southern Shelby County about 8 miles south of Clarence at 1812 CST and crossed Highway 36 around 1827 CST. Along County Road K west of Shelbyville, several trees and power lines were knocked over or snapped off. The tornado lifted over open ground to the west of Shelbyville around 1842 CST. It continued to produce funnel clouds into neighboring counties and debris was carried some 100 to 150 miles northeast. There were no known injuries.
