A weak surface low and boundary moved across a marginally unstable air mass across Ontario and New York during the afternoon of July 28th. Several thunderstorms developed across Ontario and then moved into New York and continued to develop. Many of these storms contained heavy rain and lightning with one isolated storm that produced marginal wind damage to trees.
