Strong winds occurred with a cold frontal passage with 59 mph recorded in Niter and widespread 45 to 55 mph gusts at Grace and Soda Springs.

Wider weather episode

A very strong cold front brought wind gusts well in excess of 60 mph to many locations with traffic incidents and some damage with large signs downed and tree damage along with building damage.
