Isolated thunderstorms in southwest Oklahoma during the afternoon hours on the 23rd produced strong winds in Lawton. Winds measured at 75 mph flipped over a $1 million airplane and damaged hangar doors at Lawton Municipal Airport. Damage to the airplane was estimated at $500,000.
