A brief tornado occurred and did some damage to a pole barn near Hemple, Missouri.
Wider weather episode
A strong supercell formed in far northern Missouri, and dropped southward across the Highway 36 corridor. Along the way it produced several areas of tight rotation, which ultimately led to a brief tornado near Stewartsville.
