Event narrative

An isolated thunderstorm produced up to baseball-size hail. The public reported golf ball-size hail covering the ground, as well as estimated winds of 85 mph. The downtown area was hit hard, along with residences on the south side of town. Many windows were broken out of cars and residences, and a roof of a downtown business collapsed. Trees up to 30 inches in diameter were also reported toppled by the storm.
