On the morning of June 17th, a very warm and humid air mass was present across southern Indiana as a cold front extended west to east across central Illinois into central Indiana. South of the cold front, a Mesoscale Convective System moved across southern Indiana during the mid-morning hours, with storms feeding off the large amounts of instability. Across southern Indiana, the main observed severe hazard was damaging winds, with wind damage being observed across several counties.
