Wind gusts of up to 52 knots (60 MPH) were measured by a mesonet on the MD-4 Thomas Johnson Bridge (MD147) over the tidal Patuxent River.

A weak cold front sparked scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms that resulted in many instances of gusty winds over area waterways.
