Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down a large tree onto Route 414, blocking all lanes.

Wider weather episode

A line of storms developed ahead of a cold front as it swept across Central New York. Damaging winds from a few storms knocked down trees and wires across the region. A couple of the downed trees landed on structures, resulting in some damage.
