An upper level ridge and thermal trough across the Pacific Northwest produced temperatures above 100 degrees for two consecutive days. Temperatures for the June 29 and 30, respectively, included Hermiston (100, 105), Pendleton (102, 101), and Pelton Dam (105, 101).
