Eureka County Sheriff's Office reported on their Facebook page that SR-278 was closed at mile marker 73 due to a mudslide. This was caused by heavy rain in the area.

Heavy rain across the areas caused localized flooding and a mudslide to occur. In other areas, thunderstorms produced gusty and erratic outflow winds.
