Event narrative

The lightning caused Fish Fire started on June 10 on the Mogollon Rim in northern Greenlee County. The fire grew to 3704 acres in mixed conifer, dead and downed trees, and standing snags within the 2011 Wallow Fire burn scar through June 18. The fire was managed for the remainder of the month without additional growth. Fire suppression costs tallied $60,000.
