Wider weather episode

During the evening of the 8th, a surface low developed northeastward in southern Ontario and allowed the trailing cold front to move southeastward from southern Lower Michigan and southwestern Ontario to northwest Ohio and central Lake Erie. Ahead of the front, a line of multicell thunderstorms eventually evolved/persisted southeastward from Lake Erie and generated isolated straight-line wind damage in northeast Ohio. These storms encountered moderate MUCAPE and DCAPE, respectively, and weak to moderate effective bulk shear in the warm sector.
