WATERSPOUT. Location: 33.1060N, 79.9560W. The local media relayed a video from the public of a waterspout with no discernable damage on the Cooper River near the Pimlico Rice Field neighborhood.

Deep moisture and light winds led to conditions favorable for morning waterspouts. Warm and moist conditions in advance of an arriving mid level trough of low pressure, nose of an upper level jet, and inland moving sea breeze circulation, favored an environment conducive for severe thunderstorms during afternoon hours.
