Multiple trees downed in Marengo. The downed trees destroyed a couple fences.

Wider weather episode

A surface low moved east-southeastward across eastern Iowa and toward northern Illinois during the afternoon through early evening of the 20th. This allowed the accompanying warm front to move northeastward from the Middle Ohio Valley toward northern Ohio. Ahead of this front, scattered multicell thunderstorms with isolated damaging wind gusts and severe hail impacted northern Ohio as the storms encountered moderate MUCAPE, DCAPE, and effective bulk shear, respectively.
