Event narrative

Several trees were downed in Barnesville, including at the intersection of Hwy 341 and Zebulon rd. Siding was also removed from a building on grove Rd.

Wider weather episode

An axis of instability was draped across much of the area during a multi-day stretch in June, which served as a catalyst for diurnally driven convection across portions of north and central Georgia. These storms and its respective outflows produced numerous reports of trees and powerlines down, with minor structural damage at some locations.
