What the National Weather Service wrote

Multiple trees reported down along Round Oak - Juliette Rd in the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge, with multiple secondary roads closed due to debris on the roadways. Several of the trees were snapped.

The wider storm

A multi-day severe weather event unfolded mid June as multiple disturbances surrounding the outer periphery of a mid level high pushed through an abnormally moist environment and highly unstable environment over the forecast area. These storms produced numerous reports of trees & powerlines down, quarter to golf ball size hail, structural damage, and isolated instances of flash flooding.
