Peak wind gusts at mesonet stations included 66 mph at I-80 at MP 81 Dolomite, 63 mph at I-80 at MP 79 Timpie, and 64 mph at SR-36 at MP 49 Stockton Bar.

Wider weather episode

A widespread high wind event across Utah was followed by strong thunderstorms associated with a system spanning a three-day period. These storms produced numerous instances of severe wind gusts, in addition to a tornado, a report of hail, and flash flooding.
