Peak wind gusts at mesonet stations included 72 mph at Murdoc, 63 mph at Milford Municipal Airport/Ben and Judy Briscoe Field ASOS, 59 mph at Cedar City Regional Airport ASOS, and 58 mph at I-15 at MP 54 Hamiltons Fort.

A widespread high wind event across Utah was followed by strong thunderstorms associated with a system spanning a three-day period. These storms produced numerous instances of severe wind gusts, in addition to a tornado, a report of hail, and flash flooding.
