Wider weather episode
A tropical upper-tropospheric trough (TUTT) low was moving westward across the northern Gulf of Mexico. As storms began to develop in the morning hours along coastal areas, one interacted with a sea/land-breeze boundary which resulted in a waterspout forming over Terrebonne Bay. It remained offshore.
