The Big Swamp Wildfire was started by lightning at 1630 PST on 08/01/22. As of the last report at 0530 PST on 09/05/22, the fire covered 110 acres and was 100 percent contained. 0 structures were lost, and 2.3 million dollars had been spent on firefighting efforts. One firefighter was killed by a falling tree.
