The Rum Creek Wildfire was started by lightning around 1700 PST on 08/17/22. As of the last report at 0530 PST on 09/30/22, the fire covered 21347 acres and was 100 percent contained. 8 structures were lost, and 55.2 million dollars had been spent on firefighting activities. 1 firefighter was killed by a falling tree on the fire line.
