A line of strong to severe thunderstorms ahead of an approaching cold front resulted in widespread wind damage across eastern New York during the afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday July 12, 2022. A NWS Storm Survey concluded that a microburst touched down near Fort Miller in Washington County that resulted in an injury.
