Delayed report...The press box was blown off of the bleachers at the Bismarck High School Football Field. Additional damage was done to a gas station awning off of Hwy. 84 and Hwy. 7. The time was estimated by radar.

Wider weather episode

A few thunderstorms became severe in late July on the 28th and 30th along a quasi-stationary boundary draped across northern sections of the state. Severe storms were mainly oriented along a west to east line adjacent to the frontal boundary.
