The wider storm

Sea breeze conditions developed over the state in the afternoon hours with a weak background wind regime. Heavy showers then formed over portions of Maui. The rain caused small stream and drainage ditch flooding, and ponding on roadways. There were no reports of serious injuries or property damage.
