Event narrative

Trees were blown down along State Road 221 with a couple of transformers damaged in the surrounding area. The time of damage was based on radar. The cost of damage was unknown but it was estimated for storm data.

Wider weather episode

A drier and more stable prevailing SE flow was over the area in the wake of a departing TUTT. Sea breeze and outflows converged across inland SE GA in the late afternoon and early evening where stronger downdrafts occurred and caused some wind damage due to drier mid level air enhancing DCAPE values.
