Emergency Managers reported a landslide at Barrio Alto Sano, Sector Los Guineos, close to Road PR-109.

Wider weather episode

A tropical wave moved across the area, increasing convergence at the lower levels. Later in the period, low level moisture was provided by the proximity of a surface trough. Additionally, an upper level low approached from the northeast, providing instability aloft, as high pressure at all level weakened.
