Due to still being in the pre-greenup phase, Red Flag Warnings were issued for the Anchorage Bowl, Matanuska Valley, Kenai Peninsula, Susitna Valley, and Bristol Bay. Glen Alps in the Anchorage verified with 65 degrees or higher, RH 25% or less, and sustained winds of 11 mph or greater for 3 hours. Palmer verified in the Matanuska Valley reporting 65 degrees or higher, RH 25% or less and sustained winds of 15 mph or more for 3 hours. Soldotna on the Kenai Peninsula verified with temperatures in the low 70s, RH values 25% or less and sustained winds around 15 mph for 3 hours. Talkeetna in the Susitna Valley verified with temperatures in the low 70s, RH values 25% or less even into the teens, and sustained winds of 15 mph or more for 3 hours. Koliganek in Bristol Bay observed temperatures around 70 degrees, RH values 25% or less, and sustained winds of 15 mph or more for 3 consecutive hours.
