In Danvers between 736 PM EDT and 743 PM EDT, winds were estimated at 60 mph by an amateur radio spotter. A tree was down on Holten Street. A large limb and wires were down on Collins Street. A large limb was down on wires on Webb Street. A large limb was down on Garden Street. Wires were down on Hyde Street.

Heat and humidity, with CAPE of 2500 north of the Mass Pike but little other forcing, led to scattered severe thunderstorms over eastern Massachusetts and far northern Connecticut in the late afternoon and early evening.
